•CHOICE OF WORDS:(1.) Русским "не хватать, не иметь в достаточном количестве" соответствуют в английском языке глагол to lack ( smth), существительное lack (of smth) и сочетание с прилагательными lacking и short: to be lacking (in smth), to be short (of smth). (2.) Глагол to lack ( smth), как правило, не употребляется в формах Continuous.
